Since its inception, the Komen Foundation has raised more than $136 million (2003). It runs the most innovative, responsive grant program in breast cancer cancer research in the country. The Komen National Grant Fund has awarded more than 250 grants to recipients selected through a peer-review process recognized by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Details

In 2003, I rode the Western Trail from Seattle to San Diego and back to LA (July 21 – August 1). In 2000, I rode from Seattle to Sunnyvale, CA … on to Omaha, NE … and then to Kansas City. My return route was via Boise, ID and Crescent Lake, OR.
